The headline deal is Chase to IHG at a 70% bonus through April 30th. This is one of the largest transfer bonuses we've ever tracked. Every 10,000 Chase points becomes 17,000 IHG points. Stack with IHG's fourth-night-free benefit for even more value.
Amex to British Airways Avios at 40% is the other monster. Avios are phenomenal for short-haul domestic flights on American Airlines — as little as 6,000 Avios one-way. With a 40% bonus, that's only 4,286 Amex MR points for a domestic flight. Borderline absurd.
Bilt Transfer Day on April 1st offered 100% bonuses to Turkish Miles & Smiles and American AAdvantage, plus 50% to Hyatt. Turkish at 1:2 means business class to Europe for just 22,500 Bilt points. Mark May 1st on your calendar.
Chase also has a 20% bonus to Aeroplan, a 25% targeted bonus to United, and a rare 15% bonus to Hyatt through May 10th. Hyatt bonuses are uncommon — even 15% extra on the best hotel currency is worth paying attention to.
Amex is running 30% bonuses to Virgin Atlantic and Emirates, and 50% to Hilton. Citi has bonuses to LifeMiles (25%), Virgin Atlantic (30%), Qantas (20%), and Turkish (25%). Capital One offers bonuses to JAL (30%), BA (20%), and Wyndham (40%).
Golden rule: don't transfer just because a bonus exists. Find the trip first, check if a bonus is active, then transfer. All these bonuses mostly expire April 30th. If you've got a redemption in mind, move this week.
